What if I have an encrypted drive (BitLocker, FileVault, hardware encryption)?
The encrypted container is recovered — raw bits, intact. Unlock occurs on the client side using the original key, password, or recovery phrase. eProvided does not break, crack, or store encryption keys. If the key has been lost, the data is mathematically unrecoverable. Encryption is a client safeguard; we respect it.
Can you recover from a drive that doesn’t show up or makes clicking sounds?

Both are recoverable in our facility. Power the device off and ship as-is. Do not power it back on to “check” — additional power cycles can compound damage.
Do you sign NDAs?

How is my data secured during recovery?
The device is logged into a single case file and remains at one workbench, secured when not in active work. Recovered data is written to a new USB drive (or a client-specified destination) and shipped back. The working copy on our recovery workstation is securely wiped on case closure.
