File Sizes & Counts
Have you ever wondered how much space a set of files takes up? Or how many files were in a folder? Well, here's how to figure it out.
If you're interested in the number of files in a folder and / or the total size of the folder, just right-click it and select Properties from the resulting menu.
OK, that was a fairly well known trick. But what if you have a bunch of files in a folder and need to know the combined size of seven of them?
You could right-click each one, select Properties, and then add up all the sizes.
However, a better way would be to highlight all seven files in question, right-click them, and select Properties.

That will give you a combined file size of just those seven files.

If they're not in order, use your CTRL key to select them.
